Early Signs of Teething
Symptoms and their severity vary widely from baby to baby, but you could see one or more of the following:
- Drooling: You will start to notice that the clothes of your baby is more wet than usual, it is best to wear a bib to keep your chest away from moisture and avoid getting sick, well, your little one feel more comfortable dry. Try to clear the area of your chin, cheeks, etc.., Regularly and that saliva can irritate the skin of your baby, ask your doctor that you can use cream to relieve irritation in that area. The accumulation of saliva can also cause a slight cough or nausea, but if your baby is healthy, do not worry about it.
- Bites: You will notice that everything that has bite to it, his hands, yours, toys, his spoon, or even your chest, biting helps relieve the pressure in her gums, get her a pacifier, you can even cool in the refrigerator before serving time, your baby will thank you, or you can give a soft washcloth to bite or you rub the gums with it.
- Mourn: For some teething babies passed as a gentle breeze and only emit a groan, while others suffer great pain, and they share with us crying. Talk to your doctor to prescribe you some cream or gel to relieve pain in the gums.
- Lack of appetite: Because the sucking motion increases the pressure on the gums and pain, your baby may refuse to eat.
- Bad dreams: Especially when the gum is being opened to let out the tooth, your baby can do a lot of noise during the day and at night, so be prepared for a few more late nights.
Not all doctors agree on whether diarrhea and fever can also be symptoms of teething (although most of the moms who have been there will tell you they are). Anyway you should tell your doctor if these symptoms last more than two days.
